About the Center for Local Government Accountability

The CLGA was founded in 2014 by attorney Craig Sherman in order to help community groups after Craig found that neighborhoods were too often being blindsided by government waste and unmanageable development without having a say on what goes on within the neighborhood itself. Community members are in the best position to speak about what goes on in their own community and the CLGA was designed to help give a voice to the community.
